After you fill out the information on our donation or request page, you will be sent a confirmation email. TFK will monitor your request or donation until a match has been made. Once a match is made, you will be contacted to choose either a donation or instrument day. On these days, the recipient or donor will need to bring their confirmation code (which will be sent beforehand) and some form of ID. Please contact us if you have any questions about the process!

One of the most important things we value is privacy and security. We only ask for essential information, and it is stored safely and securely. Any information that we do collect is not given or shared with any other organization.

We highly value the presence of music in children's lives. Our core mission is to simply provide children from different backgrounds the opportunity to experience the benefits of music. Music education develops essential skills in children, which is incredibly beneficial during a child’s formative years. According to the National Association for Music Education, children exposed to music education have higher testing scores than their peers. We are dedicated to giving more children this opportunity. Although we have plans to expand in the future, as of right now we primarily work within the greater Nashville area. If you are unsure whether or not your location fits within our scope, there’s no harm in submitting a donation/request form; we will get back to you and let you know if you qualify for fulfillment!
