Meet The Team
Founder & Executive Director
Hi! I’m Manavi I’m the founder of Tunes For Kidz and I play the cello, piano, guitar, ukulele, and I am a singer/songwriter! I'm a high school student in Brentwood, TN who has a love for music and just want to share it with kids everywhere! I am a current senior in high school and I started this organization almost 2 years ago and couldn't be prouder of the amazing team we have!
My name is Riya Mitra, and I am a first year Bioengineering student at the University of Pennsylvania with minors in Economics and Engineering Entrepreneurship. I have played the violin for 13 years and have always had a love for music. I have a passion for increasing diversity in music and beyond, and am excited to promote Tunes for Kidz’ message as the Business Director! Feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I’m Natalie Porter! I’ve been singing for basically my entire life. I started songwriting when I was 11 years old, I was able to have the opportunity to record some of my original songs, and I can’t wait to get them out soon! I’m so excited to be apart of Tunes for Kids
My name is Dylan, and I am one of the assistant coordinators at Tunes For Kidz. I’m from Memphis, Tennessee, but I moved to Brentwood in 2016. I am the percussion captain for my school’s marching band and 1st chair saxophone in the wind ensemble. Music has significantly impacted my life, so showing everyone in my community how important music can be is very important to me. When I’m not focusing on music, I enjoy running, ultimate frisbee, video games, and cooking.
Hi! I'm Caroline Meyer and I am 17 years old and from Nashville, Tennessee. I am primarily a vocalist, but I also play the guitar, piano, ukulele, and alto saxophone. I got my start in the music field in fourth grade when I started participating in musical theater with a local community theater. Since then, I have performed in various choirs, bands, theater troupes, and vocal groups. I listen to and play a wide range of music, but jazz is my favorite genre. My current favorite artist is, of course, Ella Fitzgerald, and my favorite song of hers is “Lullaby of Birdland.” My love of music is accompanied by a love of writing, so working with POW was the perfect opportunity for me! It is so rewarding to be a part of such an incredible organization, and I am so grateful for the experience of doing what I love!
